What's this all about then?

Why have I set up this blog? Good question. It's a bit of a whim to be honest.

A friend suggested my story might be interesting to others and I have a long history building websites and webapps. I'm not a professional - it's just for fun.

I'm also not much of a writer. Never done anything like this before. But what the hell... it could be fun and who knows where it will go.
